Aerogard paint protection film was developed by 3M's Aerospace division for the leading edge of helicopter rotor blades to protect against the corrosive element of sand and dust at ultra high speeds. Your auto will never match the speeds of helicopter blades, but is in constant assault of road debris and small rocks and sand at speeds of 150 mph.
